[The voice feed pops up first though there's not much to hear, then quickly switches to video to show a confused blonde girl. It looks like she's testing buttons, though it's clear from the look on her face she's dissatisfied with the results.]

I don't think this is going to be much use... it looks like a book, but on the inside... I can't really tell what it's supposed to be. [she sets the journal aside, to reveal a man, silver-haired but still young] Besides, we need to find where we are and how to get back.

Should we start walking? If someone lost that book, then there's bound to be a town nearby... or at least a road.

[The second person pulls himself to his feet, clearly favoring an injured arm. He stops only to retrieve another journal before slowly making his way over.]

Yes, that'd probably be best... Just let me know if you're not feeling well, okay? Oh... there's another one?

I'm fine, Noelle. And you'll be the first to know the minute I'm not. [he holds it out] Yes, just laying there. Which way?

[... Wow. He might not have seen her in a long while, but he still knows that face and that voice anywhere. The second... he has to think about before a name pops into his head. But...]

[Noelle's surprised to hear the voice come out of the book she'd set aside, which she quickly turns her attention back towards. Though that's not nearly as surprising - or as worrying - as who she saw there.]

Luke? Is that you?

[He definitely recognizes the voice, but as far as Ginji can tell, Luke's nowhere in sight. That is, until he notices Noelle tinkering around with the book again. He shuffles over, curious, and peers over her shoulder for a better look.]

Luke, you're all right. Is everyone with you?

Yeah, hey!

[He grins upon seeing Noelle. Yes, Luceti might be an awful place, but it's still really good to see familiar faces here. Especially when one of those people happens to be someone he practically trusts with his and everyone else's life almost every day on Auldrant.]

They're not really... with me, but... they're in the village, anyway.

[He's seeing how no one else has commented yet, so...]

[She briefly lifts the side of the book, to take a look at the cover - sure enough there's her name. She glances over in the direction of the book Ginji had found. Yeah, that looked like that might be his name too...

Still, what Luke said... everyone was all here?]

[So the books belong to them? Ginji frowns thoughtfully down at his own journal. There's still the questions of what for and who from. Not to mention about a dozen other things. Ginji leans in a little.]

Sorry for all the questions, Luke. You said something about a village.

[The voice is obviously familiar, but they're already talking to Luke and he has the video up... so she takes a guess.]

[They'd only spoken a few times, so she wasn't sure. She glances over at Ginji - he'd probably have a better idea than her.]

This place is called Luceti. I know it's going to sound hard to believe... but we're nowhere near Auldrant right now.

[Ginji confirms Noelle's guess only a second later.]

Ah- Asch!

[He considers thumbing through the spare journal, but it'd be too difficult to maneuver one-handed. Nevertheless, Ginji sounds relieved.]

[Nowhere near Auldrant? But... how was that even possible? But she forestalls the obvious questions to look briefly at the Guide Luke directed them towards. She skims over the table of contents briefly, glances briefly at Ginji in case he's perusing it as well, but closes it before too long - they are still talking to Luke after all, and they have some more pressing concerns, such as their lack of adequate clothing and Ginji's bleeding arm.]

That's fine... Do you know which way the village would be from here?

[Ginji scans the guide momentarily with his eyes, but he's too worn out right now to go through the entire thing. He resolves to look it back up later, after he's had a chance to rest.]

Luceti. Another world...

[Erk. It's the sister he doesn't know. Asch is tempted to just leave it up to Luke, but when Ginji responds, he pauses for a long moment, then focuses back on the journal.]

You mean Eldrant.

[So he's from... hmm. That could complicate things. Then again Ginji himself is a complication, considering what he knows. He'll have to deal with this more carefully than usual.]

Could you hold up your journal for a second, Noelle? I might be able to tell you where to go from that.

Ginji, do you hear some kind of river nearby?

[Beyond that, she doesn't say much. She has a few feelings and guesses about Ginji's explanation, probably to do with the crash, and how dangerous the whole mission at Eldrant was bound to be. But she still feels a little removed from this particular situation. If anything, she's actually tempted to pass the journal to Ginji, for now. She'll at least hold it out to him, though he probably can't hold it open too well by himself with his arm...]

[Ginji shifts in place, tucking the spare journal under his free arm as best he can, and casting a grateful look in Noelle's direction. There's a note of curiosity as he continues.] What else would I mean, Asch?

[With Natalia's arrival only a few days before, if that, Ion hadn't been expecting to see anyone else from Auldrant arrive... let alone two people seemingly at the same time! He almost calls out to them through the journal, but... er. Right. He doesn't know what time they might be from. It'd probably be best to do so under a filter, just in case.]

Noelle, Ginji, are you both all right?

[... that voice makes Noelle freeze. Unlike Natalia, Luke and Asch's presence did not raise any alarms for Noelle, nor would it for Ginji. They were still alive and well in their time. But... she knew that voice.

... perhaps it might've been that other replica, the one Luke and Anise had rescued at Absorption Gate. And yet she was fairly sure that one hadn't learned her name, let alone Ginji's. There's no real way to tell from the little picture, either... But...

Her voice is hesitant, and more than a little confused.]

[Ginji hasn't spent as much time around Ion as Noelle and the others have. In fact, Ginji's only met him a few times in person, but it was Ion who had given them permission to use the hover drives in the first place, and he's helped everyone plenty of times since then, too. It's just... According to what Noir and the others had said, wasn't he...?]

We're fine for the time being, Master Ion. Just a little disoriented is all.

[The voice is familiar to Noelle too. They'd only really spoken once, but they'd worked together to make sure Luke and the others were able to get to Absorption Gate to stop Commandant Grants...]

[She holds the journal up a little bit and out, feeling a little silly, though she trusted Luke to have a point with this. The trees nearby thin out on one side a little to fields. All in all, they aren't too far from the town.]

I'm not too sure, but the ground slopes off a little. [He makes a nodding motion to the left.] There might be water that way.

[At the sight of another person, Noelle can't help but sigh in relief.]

Thank goodness... Yes, my brother and I woke up here and we're not sure what happened. Also, we need to find medical attention in the near future, if you know where we can get it.

[She still doesn't entirely buy the 'just knocked around a bit,' Ginji. Also not too concerned about the yellow cheagle-like thing, though she does glance at it a little in surprise. It was kind of cute...]
