[The voice feed pops up first though there's not much to hear, then quickly switches to video to show a confused blonde girl. It looks like she's testing buttons, though it's clear from the look on her face she's dissatisfied with the results.]

I don't think this is going to be much use... it looks like a book, but on the inside... I can't really tell what it's supposed to be. [she sets the journal aside, to reveal a man, silver-haired but still young] Besides, we need to find where we are and how to get back.

Should we start walking? If someone lost that book, then there's bound to be a town nearby... or at least a road.

[The second person pulls himself to his feet, clearly favoring an injured arm. He stops only to retrieve another journal before slowly making his way over.]

Yes, that'd probably be best... Just let me know if you're not feeling well, okay? Oh... there's another one?

I'm fine, Noelle. And you'll be the first to know the minute I'm not. [he holds it out] Yes, just laying there. Which way?

You mean... the governor of Keterburg? [He looks to Noelle for confirmation, since his sister seems to recognize the speaker. There sure are a lot of people from Auldrant here, especially if this really isn't Auldrant at all anymore.]

[it seems this is the time of year for new arrivals from Auldrant. Ginji gets double points - most ordinary Auldrant people don't recognize her by first name alone.]

[She's relieved that she recognized the voice, and that Nephry recognized her as well.]

This is my brother Ginji. He's the pilot of the Albiore III. We're trying to figure out a way to the town.

[Since Luke had mentioned there was a town.]

It's... nice to meet you. [Seems like the polite thing to say. He only wishes he were feeling a little less lousy at the moment.]

Could you help us? Luke mentioned a river. Do you know if it flows to or away from the village?

It's nice to meet you as well, Ginji. [Noelle has a brother? ...Hopefully he's more of the family sort.]

The direction of the river depends on where you are in relation to the village. Is there anything else nearby that might serve as a landmark? If you're close, I have no problem coming to lead you back here.

I'm not sure... there's some fields on one side and mountains beyond that...

[She's looking around, trying to see if she can see anything else. It's hard to tell what might be a good landmark and what might not...]

[Ginji glances around for anything else, but his attempt is half-hearted. He's tired, and aside from the clearing and the distant mountains Noelle has already mentioned, there's only trees, trees, and more trees, along with a slight sloping to the ground.]

Nothing that really stands out. Do people normally appear in the woods like this?

Yes, most of the time that's exactly where everyone is. Somewhere in the forest.

There are...small houses, of a sort, if you can find one, meant to allow new arrivals to rest while they wait to be found. I can't tell you if you're near one, though. [She doesn't take too many walks into the deep woods.] If you are near the river, though, it is best to stay in view of it.

[Must be frustrating, so many people arriving where they could so easily get lost...]

I believe we're going to try to find one of the rivers. We think there might be one close by. We'll let you know if we find anything.
